In regard to the idea of metaphoric comparison between the concept of Christ and that of the "third degree of civilization (representative democracy)" - in order to understand this from the perspective which I hope to illustrate, a person must first look at the "idea" of Christ as a "concept."

This isn't an attempt at removing religious meaning which is associated with the idea of Christ, and neither is it an attempt to impose religious meaning to that intangible body known as the government within a representative democracy - only a momentary consideration of the concept of Christ when examined without the religious connotations. If a person does that, it then becomes easier to see what I am getting at in this comparison.

In a condensed over view, it is that the action of Christ was to create a way into the kingdom of heaven for all sinners - essentially, all of man kind, that is - knowing (from a Christian perspective) that all are born of and into sin. To provide a means by which the most wretched could sit at the very throne of "God" as it were.

Now then, when a person then considers the concept of the "Third Degree Of Civilization," and then the idea of Christ "sans" the religious aspects - the similarities begin to surface.

It could be said that the idea of representative democracy actually embodies, carries out and maintains within our physical reality - the means and concept which the sacrifice of Christ was to provide for in transcending realms of existence, so to speak, in an ongoing manner.

"Representative democracy" being the mechanism through which people might find a better life from what it is that they have come from.

This isn't to say that the government should be seen as "Jesus H. Christ," or any other "version" of "him" - only that it seems easy to see a comparison in "applied" concept - metaphorically at least.

From an "artistic" point of view, such would really only add to the brilliance of the concept(s) (representative democracy), itself - as just that - and though it may be my personal speculation, such a "metaphoric" work isn't all that far fetched given the point in time and process through which the "Third Degree Of Civilization" was conceptualized and put forward. ~

Further in support of this little musing is the fact that there are as many ways to approach the concept of representative democracy - as there are those in regard to the concept and idea of "Christ" ' Truth, Farce, Hoax, Cult, Even treasonous and rebellious if a person looks deep enough.

Each of them somehow existing and functioning to one degree or another, simultaneously.

It is definitely a musing I will continue to consider through my years, as is that of a metaphorical perspective in exploring the idea of representative democracy being a living replication/emulation of that larger ongoing process I have observed in earlier pieces - this of course being effected and displaced with that modern combination of dynamics I have been exploring (observing) more recently.
